Background: On August 3, 1999, it was announced that the heirs of Abraham Zapruder (through their LMH Company) would receive $16 million dollars for the copy of the Zapruder Film then held in the National Archives. LMH Company retained the copyright to the film, which it then donated to the Sixth Floor Museum in December of that year.
This request is for a copy of the 1999 tax return for LMH Company showing the amount of the deduction for the Zapruder film copyright that was donated to the Sixth Floor Museum.
